York Quay Neighbourhood Association covers Toronto’s iconic Central Waterfront, with members in every building. YQNA is actively engaged in what shapes our neighbourhood – traffic, transit, planning, cultural and social events, policing, environment, noise, businesses, and the great urban renewal transforming Queens Quay. YQNA welcomes all residents to participate, share their ideas and enjoy our events.
York Quay Neighbourhood Association covers the Central Waterfront from Spadina Ave. to Yonge Street, Lake Shore Blvd. to Lake Ontario. YQNA is among Toronto’s busiest associations due to the urban renewal that is transforming our neighbourhood. We have members in every building and work with condo boards, politicians, planners, developers, Waterfront Toronto, Waterfront BIA and many city agencies, businesses and other associations.
YQNA has bi-monthly meetings as guests of the Radisson Admiral Hotel on Queens Quay. All are welcome to bring their questions and ideas, learn about issues and hear our guest speakers. Decisions are made by a majority vote of people attending. After meetings we socialize in Radisson’s lounge. YQNA’s committees meet separately to focus on planning, traffic, police liaison, social events and more.
YQNA’s website aims to receive and give information in a transparent manner. We encourage you to visit often and use the many links to our vibrant Waterfront. You may sign up to get emailed news. There are no membership fees, but donations are welcome.
YQNA will keep you in touch with events and developments in our iconic community – a favourite recreational area for visitors and the entire GTA.
